I got my pay today!

However, I must refrain myself from wasting it away. My plan is to save up for a flute, something which I've been yearning to own for many years already. All along I thought it was not that necessary since I've been assigned to one of it when I was in the school band.

Anyway, I went shopping with Dear in town, hoping to get a casual dress but nth really caught my eyes. Still, I was so happy that Dear bought me a star necklace which I love alot. He got more shopping loots than me though. Haha.

Results for the special semester has been released. I did fine for Korean so I'm considering taking Level 2. Not sure when but probably not this coming semester as I'm saving the timeslot for my food chemistry concentration. Pray hard that I get that module!!! =S

I'm still hunting for a temp job!

Must be paying above $7, not working in the sun, not on weekends and not too far. Best is if can sit down one! LOL! I'm really asking too much right.. No lah these are just ideal conditions.. Reality is another thing when a suitable job is available.

I went for an interview yesterday. The job advertisement stated bridal boutique looking for photography model. I thought.. Hmm.. should be quite decent-paying lah. Went for the interview, in the end found out the job's actually through I-Models International model agency. So dumb lah! I'm want to earn money then spend, not spend money before earning back!

And so.. I wasted an hour or so listening to that lady who interviewed me complain about her work and personal life and explaining the package to me. I so wanted to ask her to stop yakking and just let me go but that would have been so rude.

Met mummy for facial at Orchard after that before I had dinner with Jas and Ade.
It was my first time eating at Waraku Japanese Pasta Restaurant and it's not bad. I'll definitely go back and try other dishes. They offer a wide selection of mouth-watering-looking pastas!

After dinner, we played a few rounds of game in the arcade. And because we had this sudden impulse to sing, we went kbox-ing till midnight before Dear came to fetch us home!
We had supper at Bedok 511. BBQ Chicken Wings!!! ^^

My throat feels sore now. It's always better to go kbox with more than 3 ppl. Otherwise, we'll always be rotating the mics around so often that each one don't get enough time to rest their voicebox. Haha. Hopefully can recover soon cuz' it's gonna be Ktv again this coming Sat with Uni peeps.


I'm enjoying this holiday...

Last day of work for NTT Docomo at the CommunicAsia 2008!

The past week of training and working had been fun and interesting with the company of these girls. Everyone had been friendly and chatty ever since the first day we met and grew to become friends who have fun at work together.

And... We simply adore the docomo's mushrooms! LOL.. they're docomo's mascot and everyone just cant shun away the thought of kidnapping them from the information counter.

The job at the exhibition was rather 轻松 and we get to meet all kinds of people. Be it interesting, beautiful or.... weird.

It's really a nice experience working for Japanese company (Docomo is the largest mobile service operator in Japan, just like Singtel is in Singapore). You get to experience their work life culture and constantly hear them speak their language. Today was our last day of work and the exhibition officially ended at 4pm. The company held a small tea party at the exhibition site and we also had our phototaking session.

Okay.. I might as well get enough rest and wake up later then. ^^

It was the 1st day of training for CommunicAsia at Peninsular Excelsior Hotel today.

First time meeting the other girls and fortunately all of them are very friendly and chattable. It just so happened that my hall's next-door-neighbour is working for the event too. Damn qiao!

Training's in the ballroom and the talk is really interesting, although it is kind of information overloading at times.

Looking forward to training and work this coming week...

父亲节快乐！！！

Friday night was a night with my childhood friends!

Our gathering has been postponed all the way from Chinese New Year!!!

Finally got a chance to do our long catch-ups. Reservation's at 7.30pm at Pitstop cafe where we had our dinner and 2 hours of gaming. It was lots of fun and I think Singapore's version of TABOO is rather challenging... but nevertheless hell lotsa fun!



After the gaming session, we wandered around for a long long time before deciding to have our desserts at Esplanade's Haagen Daz.

Chatted till midnight and had to leave reluctantly when the shop closes for the day.




We had considered taking NR7 back home but the night was still young and it was our "high" time. Roamed around looking for activities but ended up at Fullerton Hotel where we booked a MaxiCab for the ride home.

EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!!! HOLIDAYS TILL AUGUST!!!


Although the Korean paper today is manageable, I'm not really confident of getting an A. =S

Anyway, I'll just enjoy my holidays while I wait patiently for the result's outcome.
I wonder when will the results for special term be released?

Had lunch with 老蔡 and 老林 after exam before we went to discuss and plan our itenary for the Bintan Trip! Excited! LOL ^^

Gonna get some beauty sleep tonight...

Lunched with Dear yesterday before we watched Sex and The City at GV.

Gosh.. the ticket pricing is going up, up, up... $10 for a weekend movie now. Wonder if it'll continue to increase further.

Anyway, the movie was great! Good storyline, worth watching.

After the show, I finally bought my pair of swimming goggles with degree. Have been procrastinating for a long long time. Haha. We went for a quick bite after the show before going swimming at Clearwater Condo. Nice exercise and relaxation.

Dinner was at Bedok 85 market where we had Ba Chor Mee, grilled chicken wings and otah. Yummy!

Cousin came from KL to visit us with her BF. Brought them for supper before sending them back to hotel at Orchard Road.

Supposed to go for facial and meet cousin at Bugis to shop today, but was feeling too tired. Resting at home have been the better choice so I can gather my energy to start studying for the Korean exam on this coming Wednesday morning.

Today's Korean listening and oral exam was kind of a disappointment. 어려워요!

I hope I can still fare well in the final exam because I wanna continue taking Level 2!

I couldn't understand the instructions for the listening test so I was still stunned when the recording started to play. AND! I thought 선생님 would repeat the recording but she didn't!! She said she wouldn't be replaying it but I was in a daze and couldn't catch what she said. =(

For the oral exam, the reading passage was rather difficult with lots of new vocabs and use of past tenses. Wasn't given enough time to silent-read the passage because 선생님 was rushing to finish fast so there'll be enough time for the students lined up behind.

Conversation was better though. I'm able to understand what she's asking though I might not have answered tad fluently.

Anyway, today's the last lesson and exam's on next 수요일에!

Gotta study!

But first... I'm gonna have a good rest tonight. Have been busy the past week preparing for presentaion, project, oral and listening. I need my beauty sleep!!!
