Bye October!

Let's bid good-bye to October in 19hrs' time.

Very soon it'll be the start of Semestral exams. It's hard to accept the fact that time is really passing by so freaking fast.

I need the motivation to concentrate and prepare well for this exam and that has to come from me MYSELF! I know I have to... haven been doing well for all the quizzes and mid-term tests.

Damn.. It's just so tough for me to pit against those clever pie in my course or at least, they're just so super ultra hardworking and competitive... responsible for raising the averages to such high grades. . .

*cold sweats =S*

Anyway, I think you people must have gotten sian of my blogskin and music for such a long time already. I'll be changing it once the counter hits 2,000 views, probably after my exams or next yr bah.. LOL! still a long way to go. . .

Xian's belated bday!

There's just no place like home. I miss it already. . .

I've just reached back in hall. There wasn't any lessons today so I went to CDC to apply for my PDL before attending a driving lesson.

It was my 4th lesson but it's the first time I'm taking the car onto the road outside the driving school as I didn't have my PDL for the previous lessons).

I had imagined before how it'd feel like driving the car onto the road with such heavy traffic, as always, in Ubi, and I thought I would panic like crazy. But fortunately, it turned out to be rather smooth-sailing. Other than the few times which engine stalled while moving off. =X Hey, at least I didn't stop the car and cry when I approached the junctions right? LOL!

I still remembered the 1st two lessons when I just started learning how to use the clutch, my engine stalled like UMPTEEN times man... Think my instructor also gek xing until wanna tu xue liao. But so far, the CDC instructors have been really patient and good. Haven scolded me yet of course good lah! Haha!

Semestral exams are starting in November le. What have I learnt in school all these while? *ponders* Guess I gotta wait till exams over then can continue driving lessons in December.

Please don't let me become rusty by then... =S

Anyway, the 8 (minus 3) Of Us met up on Saturday for Xian's belated birthday dinner.

Dinner @ Ajitei, Plaza Singapura

It was Wanyi's recommendation so we decided to try out the foodie there.

But when the waitress served Jiesi's and my orders, everyone completely burst into laughter.

It turned out that our orders were not exactly set meals. They're more like alacarte, which explains their cute-ly small portion!!

Ya. The photo doesn't show but I swear it's really like mini. Haha! *Appetisers*

Fan Tuan was lighted in place of the cake for Xian.

And we also got her a Xiao Xian. LOL!

After dinner, we shopped around at Daiso and Spotlight before crossing over to chill at Starbuck at The Cathay.

Wanyi was wearing this T-shirt with the Starbucks logo and it really made her looked like the spokesperson/ ambassador for Starbucks. *LOL! ... Hilarious*

We had a great time catching up, playing around and taking friendster-display-pic photos!!! LOL! Can't wait till the next time I see them again, which will most probably be after December eh?

Ideas for making our 2nd memento pls! I missed out the Palette-making session. Not gonna miss this one again hor! =D

I miss band!

From my hall, I can actually clearly hear the NTU band ppl warming up their instruments at the Nanyang House. Loud and Clear!

I've been feeling nostalgic about band for a long long time, especially the whole day today and now I have to hear them play!

I'm really dying to join them...

Been so SO long since I last touched the flute and I really miss the feeling of playing it.

I want to join a band!

Dunmanband Alumni, TPJCband Alumni, NTU Band!!!! Any one!!!



But.... Haix.. I dun think I have the time to do so considering my current commitments.


I feel very sad inside...

I am extremely tired today.

Had just reached back hall not long ago.

Nowadays, I have to go see doctor for my back treatment every Mon, Wed & Sat. So on weekdays like today, I've to travel down to the clinic at Raffles Place either after lessons or between lessons. It gets rather tiring at times. =(

I'm so tired and lazy to go for dinner! Gonna ask Pui Fun / Jade to help me buy...


Things to do: Bathe, eat, do tutotrial, watch Channel 8 show at 9pm!, Sleep.


So boring....

1st Driving Practical!

It's raining heavily at NTU now and I'm still waiting for my first meal of the day to be delivered.

Ya. MacSpicy meal, don't want upzise, burger don't want mayonise, drinks change to green tea pls.. I'm hungry!!!

Had Chemistry Lab session this morning and I screwed up from the very 1st procedure. Was using the seperating funnel and I didn't realised that the funnel was leaking!!!

There goes 3/4 of my sample! The worst thing is that every student is only given ONE and ONLY ONE packet of the sample for the experiment. It's just been less than 15 min into the experiment and I totally sian liao. Already lost all the readings and accuracy.

Usually we can complete experiments within 1.5hr but today's one is super difficult and almost all of us took the WHOLE 3hrs to finish it.

We had to do separation, Bauchner Filtration, rotatory evaporation, determine melting point and also Thin Layer Chromatography. 5 In 1. Rush like mad! @.@


Ok. My brunch is finally here after 1hr. Gonna makan le.....
