Shopping for dance outfit

It's fun yet tiring. But I'm just going to hang in there for 2 more weeks!
Like what my friends and seniors say.. Enjoy every moment now to the fullest so I wont regret my time spent later.

Went out to town with the pageant ppl yesterday to shop for our dance outfit. Had to get a pair of heels, black halter top and a black flair skirt. These are not sponsored loh! Lucky I already got the skirt.

The shopping process was damn tiring and almost dreadful. We went around to almost every shop, tried on numerous heels and halter tops which are mostly not suitable. The guys settled their black leather shoes within less than an hour and they ended up following us around and waited boringly outside the shops.

Till evening time, I only managed to get my top. The gals proceeded on to citylink to look for more heels while the guys each went off for their respective dates.

I still didn't managed to get a pair of comfortable black heels of 3 inches high. Any kind soul willing to lend me? =D

Hmm.. Gonna have practice again this evening at hall so it's time for me to organise the notes a lil' and revise! Can't catch up with lectures!

Start of Uni Life!

U know what???

I am now sitting alone in my hostel room, blogging, music-ing and waiting for my friends to call me before I go meet them for lunch because...

I overslept and missed my VERY FIRST uni lecture which was at 8.30am.

Damn! Whatsmore, the subject I missed was PHYSICS! Sure diff for me to catch up man..

Anyway, the past few days had been really busy BUSY BUSY.. very tiring yet fulfilling.

On Monday night which was the 1st day of school (even though I had no lessons at all), we attended the Joint Hall Dinner + Bash by dbl O! It was a blast man. I had so much fun with my dear Khydra peeps and we simply enjoyed the whole dinner + dance session lots! Haha. After the bash, the clan went supper together at a nearby coffeeshop outside NTU called Ah Fang Coffeeshop! LOL!


Following on Tuesday (yesterday), was a super-duper busy day. I forced myself to wake up at 8am (had only 4hrs of slp!) so as to drag myself to the library to meet my SPMS Latte og-mates to adjust our timetable so we can have as many lessons together as possible.

Afterwhich, I joined the pageant friends and we went for clothes-fitting at The Heeren's NUM.
Ok people.. Don't start laughing ok? I'm rather surprised they selected me for the Hall 8 pageant too cux I was like having so much fun during the hall camp and preserved no image at all. LOL!

Anyway, after clothes fitting, we had dancing lesson at a dancing school in Tanjong Pagar.
We had to learn Street Salsa! I found it rather hard for a non-dancer like me to have to dance in heels. I even have trouble remembering the dance-steps lah! BUT! Since, I'm given this opportunity, I'd really love to gain a memorable experience out of it and just have fun!

We then had dinner at Jurong Point before coming back to hall for the Catwalk practice session.

Bathe and slept very late as usual.. @.@

I'm finally back home yesterday from the 6 Days & 6 Nights NTU Hall 8 Camp!

The camp's totally fantastic!

The theme for the camp was Oneiro which means - Dream.
The first day started off with the sorting of all campers into 4 clans. The sorting method was rather interesting and creative. One of the programmer dressed up and acted as The Sorting Hat in Harry Potter's and started out reading names to be sort into the different clans.

My clan is KHYDRA! - something to do with many-headed snakes de lah.. don't ask me to explain the meaning of the word cuz I also dunno. Haha!

Camp was fun. Night games, pool games, field games, dirty games, muddy games, dragonboat race, lazer gun competition, initiation night, SP night, chalet stay, fright night, friendship dance, mealworm feast, amazing race, beach games, cheer fight, campfire.

I love it all!!!

K-Clan rocks! The 6D6N had been tiring but every moment of it had been spent meaningfully and created lots of beautiful memories.

Through the hall camp, I got to familiarise myself a lil' bit more with the hall life and my neighbours. Coincidentally, they're all from my clan! Hmm.. Makes me feel much better esp when I'm away from my comfort zone at home.
