JJ 林俊杰 World Tour 2009

JJ Concert was totally enjoyable. Makes me feel like watching it again. It lasted for nearly 3hrs and I enjoyed every moment of it. Except during BY2's performance...







Cousin flew over from KL on fri night and stayed over the weekend, specially for JJ's concert!


We went shopping and dinner at bugis before cabbing down to the Indoor Stadium. Thought we're gonna be late but should have known, the concert starts only at 8.30pm.

The special guests for the night are BY2 and Fan Wei Qi.



Fanfan sang Xiao Jiu Wo with JJ, which was not bad, even though she made a small obvious mistake somewhere near the end. She always give ppl the kind of 'qi zhi mei nu' feel..very pretty and her high notes are beautiful.



Did I mention that I didn't like BY2.. and to make things worse, they sang 只對你有感覺 with JJ?!! WAH PIANG. Standard so-so nia still sang Hebe's song loh!

HAPPY 28th BIRTHDAY, JJ!!!

On the day of the concert, it happened to be JJ's 28th Birthday! 28/3/09... So anyway, there was a special performance by JJ and his family. Indeed a family with musical background, they performed a song (forgot the title), with JJ mum on PIPA!, JJ dad on erhu and the bro on piano.

I think JJ can really sing well even in LIVE concert! ^^

Caught this movie last Saturday, I wouldn't say it's extremely frightening, but you do get the kind of 'hair-standing' feel after watching it. It's not like the typical Ju-On or The Ring kind of horror flick where the sound and images scares u more than the plot. Coming Soon is one with a storyline behind it. I've seen newspapers and net rating for this show which is not very high, but personally I would recommend you guys to watch this movie, whether or not you are a fan of the genre cuz' I think the production is rather special and horror element is rather fresh.

I've finally handed up the very last lab report for this semester! FINALLY. phew. haven't been sleeping well the past few nights. getting only 4 hr+ each night. there were 2 midterm tests last week, and now I can't wait for the report for the Art of Academic Writing to be completed before I start gearing up for exams. Hope it's not too late by then.

Mentally drained. -.-

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY

...to Lauren aka Socks aka ex-roomie!

One after another, my close friends are turning 21! And it'll soon be my turn.. or maybe not so soon. BUT, the point is, I'm afraid of growing old. Lots of changes would be taking place. I still love life as a student, even though how much I hate doing lab reports, going for exams unprepared blah blah.... I still think life as a student is more carefree. 不想长大!

The 8ofus will be celebrating socks's bday tml night, yet I wont be able to join them. The upcoming 2 mths will be a busy period as usual for Semester 2. Project, lab reports, and 2 midterm test coming up next week. Each of weightage 40% and I'm still unprepared, falling behind syllabus (as usual).

Well, many things going on for the past few weeks but have been really busy to update. One thing's settled, we're going Taiwan for 12 days in May! Have already booked the air ticket, gonna travel by Jetstar. There was a promotion going on at the time when we book, and the total air fare for 2-way trip turns out to be damn cheap. Each of us paid $333 for 2 way ticket including taxes, oil surcharge and the flight insurance! We're so lucky because the very nx day after we booked the tix, the promotion was over and prices increased by $200+! Anyway, I'm so looking forward to the trip to Taiwan, we'll be spending 5 days in Taipei and the remaining 7 days touring the other cities/ province/ whatever u call it.. haha!

My Bloody Valentine in 3D is really damn bloody. There was gore from the very 1st scene.

I bought my cheese and mushroom crepes into the cinema and totally lost my appetite when I saw the bloody scene. Not that I'm scared. (I'm a fan of SAW series!!) It's just that I didn't see them coming. I mean when u're watching SAW it's predictable that you'll see lots of gruesome scenes. But I didnt thought that this movie would be so erxin. Hmm, there's certainly nudity for this show too, didnt know it was rated M18 till I saw those scenes. I would think that paying $13.50 to watch this movie in 3D is not really worth it. The effects are not that advanced yet and wearing those plastic specs feels cumbersome and dulls my vision.

I wanna watch Coming Soon... It's a horror movie by the director of Shutter, 4bia and Alone. But I guess it'll not be screening anymore by the time I'm free to visit the cinema.

Ok, back to studying.. XD

HAPPY 21st B'DAY to Tze Hwee!

Zi Hui celebrated her 21st Birthday at Changi Beach Bungalow Chalet last Sunday and as usual birthday party is a great avenue to catch up with old school mates and all.

It was raining heavily that day and somehow the Aloha Loyang Chalet which was actually the initial venue for the celebration had their water pipes burst, and they had to relocate Zi Hui's party to the Changi Bungalow.

Candice's parents gave us a ride to the chalet, which otherwise was rather inaccessible by bus.

The ever-sweet and demure birthday girl whom I've known since secondary school. To recall about it, we've know each other for almost 6-7 yrs le...went to the same sec sch, were classmates in JC and now taking the same course in Uni.
