NYE'09 Countdown Celebration! ! !

The NYE Countdown to 2009 was well-spent with my dearest bunch of coursemates at esplanade river bay. Special thanks to Kang Kang, Amanda etc who were there since afternoon and of course all other peeps who arrived earlier than me. It's because of their effort that we were able to settle down comforably in a rather spacious area with a clear view of the entire sky for the fireworks display!


Dinner was settled by Pizza Hut delivery! =D

We played many many many card games, drinking games, mrt game etc while waiting for the countdown. By around 10pm, our area was almost completely packed and surrounded by people, making it nearly impossible to squeeze out for a toilet trip.

The fireworks were beautiful and it's the 1st time I enjoyed such a clear and wide view of the entire display. The fireworks seemed to be exploding directly above in the sky, right in front of the face. Feels nice. After the countdown, we headed to Clarke Quay and continued our party at The Arena.

My New Year 2009 Resolution:

• This time round I'm really gonna try my best in studies! Need to pull up my GPA. (although I've been saying the same thing after I got my results for the past 3 semester.)
• Continue to immerse myself in band practices without considering it as a module. =D
• Get tuition jobs --> Earn pocket $$$
• Exercise at least once a week ---> this is the toughest.
• Strike a balance btw studies, family, friends and work.
