Singapore Flyer!

On Board the SINGAPORE FLYER!!!

As early as last year, Dear had reserved a date with me on the 8th of March 08'. It was meant as a surprise and he refused to let me know where he'll be bringing me.

For a moment, I thought he'd be celebrating International Women's Day with me. Lol! Jk Jk..

So finally, on the day of the long-awaited 8th of March, we had dinner at Miss Clarity Cafe before cabbing to the place he wanted to bring me. I was told to shut my eyes throughout the journey. The feeling of being kept in suspense makes me curious yet excited at the same time.

On arriving at our destination, I opened my eyes and this was what I saw at the very instant.

It took me a while to figure out that we're standing below the ferris wheel - Singapore Flyer! (Damn excited by then...)

All along I've thought that the Singapore Flyer is just a gigantic ferris wheel by itself, maybe abit more sophisticated than those at Fun Fairs, but... hell NO! I'm surprised that the there's actually a 2 storey complex below the ferris wheel, housing some shops like the "Bear Workshop", "Fish Spa" and several restaurants.

The barcode of the boarding pass had to be scanned at the turnstile...

Boarding...

Feels like boarding a plane when we walk through the connectors...

Each capsule is fully enclosed (thus, definitely safe!) and fully air-conditioned. ^^

Inside the super-spacious capsule...

The night view, taken while we were half-way reaching the peak of the wheel...

There's even a Gift Shop selling souvenirs.

The concept is so similar to that of the airpost where the gift shop area is only accessible to passengers arriving from (in this case) the ferris wheel.

Cute "Pop-up" T-shirts.

My BF resembles a C-O-C-O-N-U-T DOLL!!! Cute neh!

I'm very HAPPY!!!

And very much In LOVE!!! ^^
